What the Canadian Derivatives Institute does

In collaboration with the Government of Quebec and HEC Montréal, the Canadian Derivatives Institute offers training on the carbon market and emissions rights transactions, including derivative products, intended in particular for issuers subject to the cap and release system. greenhouse gas emissions trading (SPEDE).

Trainings

Our team of trainers, consisting of professional experts and academics, offers a range of training courses that meet the needs of the industry. Our training courses are aimed at employee markets, financial professionals and SME financial managers wishing to improve their enterprise risk management practices. Customized training, webinars, online videos, the delivery methods adapt to the reality of the needs.

Research

Our scientific fellows and team of experts work on theoretical and practical projects with important implications for the industry. The Institute plays an important role by connecting this team of experts with our industry partners. The Institute organizes an annual conference in Montreal bringing together the best academic experts.

Knowledge transfer

The Institute publishes articles on various subjects in collaboration with Finance et Investissement. The Institute organizes events contributing to the exchange between the various players in the industry.
