The Canadian Dérivatives Institute will host its eighth conference on September 12 & 13, 2019. This year’s edition will provide an apportunity for researchers and practitioners to discuss a wide range of issues associated with dérivatives.

The conference will be held at Hotel Le Sulpice in beautiful Old Montreal. It immediately procedes the NFA 2019 Conference in Vancouver.

Keynote Speaker: David Bates – University of Iowa

The Institute will cover registration fees and lodging at the hotel for presenters and discussants.

Paper submission procedure:

Authors should send a draft of their paper in electronic form to the organizer, Christian Dorion (cdi-icd@hec.ca), by May 3, 2019. Make sure to mention the CDI conference in the subject of your email. The authors of accepted papers will be notified by mid June.


Interested academics and practitioners can attend the conference. The registration form must be sent by e-mail to cdi-icd@hec.ca no later than July 26, 2019. Please note that places are limited. Attendees registering early could also benefit from our preferential rate on hotel room.
