The Canadian Derivatives Insitute will host its ninth conference on September 24 & 25, 2020. This year’s edition will an opportunity for researchers and practitioners to discuss a wide range of issues associated with derivatives.

The conference will be held at Hotel Le St-Sulpice in beautiful Old Montreal. It immediately procedes the NFA 2020 Conference in Banff.

Keynote Speaker: Neil. D. Pearson, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign

The Institute will cover registration fees and lodging at the hotel for presenters and discussants.

Paper submission procedure:

Authors should send a draft of their paper in electronic form to the organizer, Christian Dorion (, by May 17, 2020. Make sure to mention the CDI conference in the subject of your email. The authors of accepted papers will be notified by mid June.


Interested academics and practitioners can attend the conference. The registration form must be sent by email to (, no later than July 15, 2020. Please note that places are limited. Attendees registering early could also benefit from our preferential rate on hotel room.
